My move was unique in that when I had Duryea store my furniture in Denton, Texas, I didn’t know where I would be moving to or where my job search would take me. Well, one year and a half later, I ended up in the northern Virginia area. All during this time as I paid my monthly storage fees I felt that I had constant communication and assurance that my furniture was being taken care of. And, indeed, it was as evidenced by the condition everything was in when it arrived in December 1992! The moving team in Denton, David Hainline and partner, packed things so very well that when I opened boxes I was truly amazed that even the most delicate of glassware was not damaged or broken. James Duryea and his Dad delivered my furniture to me in Virginia and they were most courteous, accommodating and they made me homesick for Denton! Just like family! If my job somehow takes me back to the Texas area I will personally request Duryea Moving and Storage, if my job requires me to move elsewhere, I will – without hesitation – choose Wheaton moving company!! I just wanted to take a minute and let you know how much we appreciate the men that work for you. I cannot say enough good things about them. They never once complained about moving all my heavy stuff upstairs; they never once gave me a dirty look when I asked them to do something special; they were friendly and helpful and nice (sounds like Boy Scouts, doesn’t it?).

They mentioned several times that it was great to work for you and that you had a first class organization. All I can say is that somehow you have inspired a great work ethic in those guys, and Don and I got the benefit.

This letter is to let you know how very pleased my husband and I were with the service received from your company for our recent move from Denton, TX to Birmingham, AL. The entire moving experience was handled with complete professionalism from our initial contract through final delivery.
